This is a hands-on practicum. The goal is to develop a thought process about how digital images can be handled to maximize potential for visualization and analysis. If you have microscopic images that you’d like to analyze, please bring them along on a flash drive. Be ready to describe the research question you are trying to answer. We will choose one or more of the images brought to the session, and attempt to develop the best analysis strategy using Fiji/ImageJ during the session. If necessary, we will follow up with further refinement after the session. You are welcome to attend without bringing images of your own.
